At a high level, you can expect to spend at least 50% more than economy class to upgrade to premium economy. In many cases, expect to pay 75% to 100% more. Also, it can cost at least 75% more to sit in business class than premium economy on most long-haul fights, with many popular routes costing double to bump up to business class.
In Scoot's case, the airline's premium economy offering is better known as - cue the drumroll, ScootPlus. But before this name, ScootPlus was known as ScootBiz when the airline marketed the cabin as a business class cabin comparable to premium economy on major full-service carriers.
Business Class passengers benefit from an increased checked baggage allowance compared to the Economy and Premium Economy cabins.
